Who are we?

The Association Migration Solidarité et Échanges pour le Développement (AMSED) is a European and international network committed to the socio-educational and professional inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, disadvantaged people and all those who aspire to flourish fully in society. Based in Strasbourg, AMSED works locally, regionally and internationally to promote solidarity, equal opportunities, inclusion, citizen participation, respect for human rights and cultural diversity.

Our values – solidarity, education, fairness, respect, freedom, cooperation, reciprocity – guide everything we do. We create inclusive spaces, facilitate access to resources and opportunities, and encourage autonomy. Our vision is of a tolerant, open world that is capable of adapting to change and where everyone is encouraged to restore their human dignity.

Our main areas of action

  • Inclusion, equal opportunities and diversity: combating discrimination and removing social, economic and linguistic barriers.
  • Youth participation in democratic life: civic engagement, citizenship education and international mobility.
  • Sustainable development: raising environmental awareness, adopting eco-responsible practices and combating climate change.
  • Inclusive digital transformation: reducing the digital divide and developing digital skills.
  • Social innovation: creating solutions to current and emerging societal challenges.

All information related to the network can be found on the AMSED network’s online platform. It is designed as an interactive digital space dedicated to supporting young people, young people with fewer opportunities, and those involved in youth work, solidarity and inclusion. This multilingual platform brings together practical resources (toolboxes, recommendations, etc.), testimonials, newsletters and all the latest news from the network, thereby promoting multinational cooperation.
