PANTINE – Digital technology and employment

Strengthening skills for the professional integration of job seekers

Launched in 2015, the PANTINE project (Appropriation of New Information and Digital Technologies in the Context of Job Search), led by AMSED Strasbourg, offers an innovative and promising digital tool that, each year, helps job seekers who are actively looking for work to master the IT and digital tools essential for job-related tasks. It aims to remove barriers to employability and raise their level of qualification by developing the digital autonomy of those furthest from the job market.

Objectives

  • Remove barriers and promote employability through the use of new digital technologies.
  • Provide individual support to beneficiaries in difficulty in their journey towards professional integration.
  • Provide training in online job search techniques: help with creating tools and/or mastering online job search methods (CVs, cover letters, candidate profiles, online applications, mock interviews, etc.).
  • Organise group workshops to introduce or improve skills in the use of IT and digital tools.
  • Reach out to businesses through our ‘Match’ Emploi’ recruitment forums and increase beneficiaries’ chances of employability.
  • Contribute to long-term independence in job searching through regular, personalised support, enabling at least 20 people to find employment.

Target groups

  • Job seekers aged 30 and over registered with France Travail (MANDATORY eligibility criterion)
  • People with few or no qualifications
  • Residents of QPVs – Priority Neighbourhoods in the Eurométropole
  • Anyone in a precarious digital and socio-professional situation

Proposed actions

Action 1 – Individualised follow-up

Personalised interviews: support in creating or rewriting CVs and cover letters, interview training (online or offline simulations), help with online applications, job search methodology, etc.

Action 2 – Group workshops

Practical and interactive sessions on job search techniques through the mastery of IT and digital tools (how to create and write a CV or cover letter, manage a professional email account, navigate various job platforms – France Travail, Emploistore, Indeed, Monster, LinkedIn, etc., search for professional information online, etc.).

Action 3 – Job Match

Organisation of recruitment forums with more than 30 employers (local businesses, integration organisations, temporary employment agencies and training organisations). Candidates are prepared in advance to optimise and maximise their chances of success.

This project is co-funded by the European Social Fund under the national ESF+ programme ‘Employment, Inclusion, Youth and Skills’ 2021/2027.
