Insertion unit

Since 1999, AMSED has been working in Strasbourg to support people in difficulty, placing socio-professional insertion at the heart of its efforts to create a more just and inclusive society.

Faced with persistent inequalities affecting marginalised people who are distant from the labour market (the long-term unemployed, young people who have dropped out of school, isolated women, people with few qualifications or living in precarious situations and/or in priority neighbourhoods, etc.), AMSED has set up personalised support schemes and group workshops focused on developing a career plan, re-engagement and access to employment, digital technology and access to rights. Through drop-in and support services, socio-professional mediation and local initiatives, the association supports each individual’s journey towards independence and inclusion.

Based in Strasbourg’s Priority Neighbourhoods and supported by an active network of local partners, AMSED tailors its projects to the specific needs of the EMS residents. Its comprehensive approach—combining socio-professional inclusion, digital literacy, and professional French language training—helps remove the obstacles encountered on a daily basis in socio-professional, administrative, or personal endeavours.

For AMSED, professional integration is not only a goal, but a means of autonomy and empowerment.
